McKays Solicitors Charitable Fund

McKays Solicitors have chosen to support the Mackay Community Foundation through the establishment of a named fund, the ‘McKays Solicitors Charitable Fund’.

The directors of McKays proudly share the same ethos as the Foundation to “give where you live”.

Each year, the Foundation invests and subsequently distributes interest earned on such funds, to assist community based organisations who support individuals in need or at risk in the Mackay region.

Through this charitable fund, we will be able to maximise our financial contributions to the Mackay community for many years to come.

We hope to inspire other local businesses to follow suit, to increase the positive and longstanding impact that the Foundation can have in our region.

Mackay Relay For Life

Cancer is an illness which affects us all, one way or another. We are committed to raising funds to support cancer research through Relay For Life. Since 2007, McKays has fielded a team in the annual overnight Mackay event and contributed to the thousands of dollars raised for cancer research. McKays has been a major supporter and sponsor of Cancer Council Queensland through Relay For Life.

Local Charities

We strongly believe in supporting local organisations and charities. Over the years we have had the pleasure of supporting RSPCA, Mackay Gymnastics, Pioneer Swimming Club, Mackay Animal Rescue Society and the Ausralian Street Aid Project (Chances Cafe and Chances Op Shop) to name just a few.

We regularly assist sporting clubs and support events in the Mackay region through sponsorship and fundraising. We also encourage participation by our employees in a variety of events including corporate triathlons, team sports and charity fun runs.
